Traveling dreams postponed for a few years

The last time I wrote about my future I was in a bit of a pickle- not really sure what I was going to do with my life. All I knew is that I wanted to keep traveling. About a month ago I decided that maybe I could go to university and then travel after that, once I had a degree secured. That evening I applied to Sussex university to study psychology and by the next day I had my place there sorted. Simple as that. I leave next Saturday and it hasn’t quite kicked in yet…

Although I’m incredibly excited about starting a new life in Brighton (if anyone has any tips about the city and whatnot hmu) and learning more about psychology I am also sad that I’m going to have to put my dreams of exploring the world behind me for a few years…

A family member is just about to start her final year in Brighton (she managed to include a few months in Peru and Spain as part of her course, so you never know!) and my daughter was married there – to the Beach Boys, followed by fish, chips and Champagne on the beach (for those non-veggies) – you’ll love it. So excited for you, good luck! β˜ΊοΈπŸ‘πŸ»
